I am a Naturopath and Medical Herbalist with more than 35 years of clinical experience, consulting from the Kokoro Healing Collective in Findon, Adelaide. My practice focuses primarily on personalised herbal medicine and nutrition, with treatment tailored to the individual rather than following a standard program.

I work with people experiencing a wide range of ongoing health concerns, as well as those looking for a more individual approach to supporting their health and wellbeing.

Experience and Qualifications

I have worked in natural health care for more than 35 years and hold nationally recognised Advanced Diplomas in Naturopathy, Herbal Medicine and Nutrition, together with additional training in East Asian Medicine. I am registered with the Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS), Registration No. 0025.

Over many years of clinical practice, I have developed an approach that combines traditional herbal knowledge with contemporary naturopathic and nutritional assessment.

I also take into account any medications, supplements and medical treatment you may already be receiving when considering herbal or nutritional recommendations.

Rarely have I come across one who has such a broad wealth of knowledge that covers both Eastern and Western herbology, Chinese (and Ayurvedic) medicine, along with an understanding of the labs and drugs that Western medicine tends to use.  The pulses he takes and how he assesses a person by looking at the ears and both sides of the tongue, was eerily 100% accurate!  He was a kind and thoughtful listener, gave several options for a plan (cognizant that finances were not unlimited) , and followed up by email with extra information. Peter listened to my concerns and came up with ways to help reduce cholesterol, Peter also recommended a hair tissue mineral analysis (HTMA) test, which I did and am thankful for because it found that I am low/deficient in several essential minerals, but also found that there is low level arsenic and cadmium toxicity, both are carcinogenic. Peter provided a program for me to follow to detoxify. Peter also spent time in following up via email consolidating what was discussed in my appointment.
